Hi all,A brokerage I am working with wants to start penetrating the philippine market. I have an account with them but I don't have enough contacts in the local space, so I'm just looking for someone who does. Or well in this case any group of people I can start building trust with and branch out from there.
The deal we want to pitch is this, Filipinos can make an account on the platform, and invest themselves, OR they can also have their account copy trades from a professional trader from the company. Seems to me lots of people are hugely interested in forex but everyone wants a "quick start" without learning properly, or they just want more diversified options rather than stocks and bonds.

What're your thoughts on these forex funded accounts? such FTMO, 5%ers etc. I understand that the target to max drawdown ratio on FTMO is 1:1, this isn't too bad as you can just adjust your risk per trade, but isn't staying below a 10% max drawdown unrealistic over the stretch of a year? I hear so many people talking about 10-30% returns a month on this forum. If we even believe that's true, do you really think you can acheive that without a 10% or even 20% drawdown? To me it seems like even if you manage to pass, you'll eventually have your acount closed but the leverage you gain from trading huge accounts can make it worth it. Anyway, at this point im just rambling but let me know your stance on these companies

Is it legal to create a fund in which you pool investors money, invest it into forex, then return money to the investor based on the percent they invested compared to the pool. For example, say someone invests $5 to a fund which is added to a pool of now $500. After investing, the pool doubled to $1000, so the invested gets their money back plus an extra $5.
Is this legal? I’ve looked into mutual funds and other investment companies but I haven’t found anything that follows this system of allowing the investor to invest as much or as little as they want.

I know of a lady who is claiming to be a hedge fund manager with $1 billion in investments in less than two years. Her fund started with $0 and she had no previous experience in investments, work experience at a financial institution or degrees in Finance. She was recently handed a state consent order for operating a Forex fund without having the proper registration and license. She had raised $16 million with 22 investors in a few years but has been ordered to return all money to investors and forfeit $4 million in fees collected. My question is, she has claimed to also be managing a billion in investments in another hedge fund. Is it really this easy to get people to hand you $1 billion to manage with no personal wealth or track record of great returns on your own investments (aside from fees she took on from the $16 million forex fund of over 25% that has to be returned?) I just want to know if it’s likely she’s lying about the size of her investments to potentially attract more clients and if this is legal? If it really is that easy to start a $1 billion hedge fund then maybe I am in the wrong business.

I know someone who started forex trading the last few months or so. They are constantly posting on their stories things other people’s stories like hashtags forex funded, bosses who trade. I’m looking for someone who is hungry to join me. Polls with options like I want to be rich and I don’t want to be rich. Pretty much every every day and multiple times a day.
Don’t get me wrong, forex can definitely be a source of income but that requires a lot of mental and emotional discipline with high risks of losing money. Feels like the people selling the courses of how to trade in forex end up making most money. Bring people in, teach them get paid, if the people have a loss they just end up saying it happens etc.

I've started investing in an active Forex fund (only $3k), the key that makes this unique is I'm not the one trading - that's done by the professional traders.
I'm getting between 1% and 1.2% per day consistently (and yes I've cashed out previously, it is legit).

24yo and living with the parents (for the moment).I just got a new job How much (percentage) of my salary can i put to build an emergency funds and at the same time build my trading forex funds.

Could places like Binance.US be used to buy bitcoin and withdraw my funds to a designated url? The forex broker I plan on using (AAFX) only accepts deposits via bitcoin for US citizens, providing a url to make my payment.
I'm still figuring out crypto wallets and exchanges and just wanted to throw this question out there.
